You’re never too old for adventure

I’ve just finished reading this book

The Hundred-Year-Old Man Who Climbed Out of the Window and Disappeared by Jonas Jonasson

It’s about an old man who, on the morning on his 100th birthday, climbs out of the window at the old people’s home, shuffles to the bus station and embarks on a surprising adventure, told with deadpan humour and wit.

I like the tagline: “You’re never too old for an adventure”, and this note by the author: “But I think a lot of people really should consider the possibility of climbing out of their window. My perspective is that we live only once… I think that if you’ve asked yourself: ‘Should I…’ then the answer should be: ‘Yes!’ Otherwise, how would you ever get to know that you shouldn’t?”

Always say yes, who knows what adventures await you around the corner!
